Dicom UI R&D

Inspired by the screen graphics in the Blade Runner films, this speculative FUI R&D project explores visualizing volumetric biological scan data. The work focuses on UI systems, interface hierarchy, and motion design for near-future diagnostic interfaces. DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) files are imported and visualised in Blender using the Bioxel Nodes add-on, allowing 3D rendering of MRI volume data. The interface was designed in Illustrator and composited using After Effects.
